23 Aug – Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) by Marketing Academic Development Center Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT Academy) launches the "Curriculum Development Program to Increase Digital Knowledge for Tourism Entrepreneurs" or 4Digital Tourism, an online course. To raise the level of digital knowledge for entrepreneurs in the tourism industry, with Mr. Nithee Siprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Digital Research and Development as the chairman. And give certificates to 101 people who have been selected from those who have completed the online course according to the specified conditions at The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok.

TAT by Marketing Academic Development Center Tourism (TAT Academy) has the main mission of enhancing knowledge and developing potential for tourism operators. Along with developing the platform 4Digital Tourism, an online learning platform that tour operators can learn anywhere, 24 hours a day, with courses for entrepreneurs to study and develop skills to increase their competitiveness in the digital age. 22 courses, and there are courses that have received a lot of attention, such as “Key to Business and Sustainable Tourism” in which students will learn how to run a tourism business with ESG balance principles that must take into account the environment, society and governance, along with upgrading the service sector with digital technology. towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The 4Digital Tourism platform was launched for the first time on May 1, 2023 and received great feedback. And there are more than 2,470 people who are interested in registering to use the platform, with cooperation from many partners and networks of tour operators who support and invite entrepreneurs to join the project, including the Tourism Council of Thailand, Thai Hotels Association, Thai Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism Association, Thai Association of Travel Agents, Association of Domestic Tourism Businesses, Association of Thai Tourism Businesses, Association of Provincial Tourism Business Confederation of Thailand, Organization for the Development of Special Areas for Tourism sustainable, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) and Medium Enterprise Development Bank and small in Thailand This led to the launch of the curriculum development project to enhance digital knowledge. for tour operators and gave certificates to 101 people who completed the various courses of the project in this pilot phase.
