The Yutu's camera rotated twice and took 56 photos. Engineers stitched these photos together to create a panorama of the Yutu surrounding area. The finished panorama has a file size of more than 300 megabytes. Engineers say the images are used to learn more about the moon. And most importantly, it is used to consider which direction the Yutu-2 should head. Because the lunar surface is complex Therefore, care must be taken in planning the route. To ensure that the probe travels reliably
Yutu-2 traveled with the Chang'e-4 lander. It landed on the far side of the moon on January 3, 2019 and has operated longer than its designed life cycle. Having traveled more than 1.5 kilometers, sending back almost a terabyte of data.
