On November 28, 2020, Deputy Labour Minister Prof. Narumon Pinyosinwat presided over the opening ceremony of the “Phayathai Relationship” event at Darul Aman Mosque. Mr. Imamanit Thongsaeng, Advisor to the Halal Affairs Central Islamic Committee of Thailand and the Chairman of the Islamic Mosquegave, gave a welcoming. Chairman of the Cultural Council M.P. Pada Worakanont, Director of the Ratchathewi District Office Mr. Putsadee Wongkamhaeng, and the Superintendent of Phayathai Police Station joined the event.
The Deputy Labour Minister said that he was very pleased to be a part and get involved in organizing an event to earn money for the renovation of the Darul Aman Mosque. The building has a long history of 150 years. It shows that the Mosque and the community are united in love and harmony and have a charitable heart like Muslims and other religions who joined and donated the event.
The Deputy Labour Minister continued that the Islamic religion has many teachings, one of which is supporting each other. There is a wide variety of different identities and cultures, but this does not change the life and being in these societies. Teaching promotes love and unity in the community. To see many impressions of the society, such as that between Muslims and Buddhists, shows a happy and supportive society. There are government agencies and community leaders to support and build confidence among the people in all forms. In 2020, the Phayathai Relationship event coordinated with Muslim communities and various departments. At the event, there were 80 shops selling food from Muslim housewives and quizzes on religious knowledge. There was also an award ceremony from the Sheikhul Islam Office to sponsors in the Mosque’s affairs.
“If there is anything that the Ministry of Labour can help or support in, we are extremely pleased. There are agencies under the Ministry of Labour that can promote both professional skills training and provide jobs. For those interested, contact the Ministry of Labour, located at Din Daeng,” concluded the Labour Minister.
