General Prayut Chan-ocha, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Presided over the award ceremony for the outstanding state enterprise (SOE Award) of the year 2022, organized by State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) under the concept of “Thai state enterprises drive the new economy towards sustainable growth, GROW GREEN BALANCE”, with Mr. Wilas Chaleysat, Governor of the MEA or the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. Along with senior executives, Mr. Somsak Bamrungwat, MEA’s deputy governor, received the
2022 Outstanding State Enterprise Award. In 2022, the MEA received 2 awards:
Outstanding Creativity and Innovation Award Creativity, Honorable Mention, from the work “IoT Electricity Meter Calibrator”
Outstanding Creativity and Innovation Award for Innovation in the Honorable Mention category from the innovation “PE-insulated steel container”
