MOL Delivers Snacks to Workers and the People Fighting Covid-19

 Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to distribute snacks to the staff and medical personnel caring for insured persons, informal workers, and people in the Din Daeng flat affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

On May 6, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to distribute snacks from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd., which was Wang Wang branded crispy fried rice with dried vegetable and fruits, to the staff and medical personnel caring for insured persons, informal workers and people in the Din Daeng flat affected by Covid-19 pandemic. Advisory Board Member to the Labour Minister Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat also joined the occasion at the Thai-Japan Sports Center and the Din Daeng flats.

Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan is concerned about insured persons, informal workers, freelance workers, and people affected by the Covid-19 outbreak due to the widespread of the pandemic and the increasing infection rate. Therefore, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin instructed the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Bangkok Administration, provincial governors, and the Ministry of Public Health, by the NHSO, to proactively conduct Covid-19 screening for insured workers and informal workers, following the “Workforce Fighting Together” project, whereby the tests are free of charge. The facilities are at the West Sports Building 1, Bangkok Youth Center (Thai-Japan) in Din Daeng, Bangkok, and the multi-purpose hall at the Pathum Thani Vocational College reopened for services from May 5 to 11.

          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that today, she was assigned by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to distribute the crispy fried rice snacks with dried vegetables and fruits to the staff and medical personnel caring for insured persons, informal workers, and people in the Din Daeng flat affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
