MOL Organizes Seminar on Benefits From the Skill Development Fund Under the Skills Development Promotion Act

Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, joined the seminar’s opening ceremony on benefits from the Skill Development Fund under the Skills Development Promotion Act B.E. 2545 its amendments for the 2022 fiscal year. Mr. Suthi Sukosol from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat Office presided over the event at the Grand Ballroom, 3rd floor, The Emerald Hotel, Ratchada, Bangkok. The seminar was organized to promote and encourage business establishments to develop skills for their employees or the general public before hiring them to work, including students or persons sent by the government for skills training. The initiative aims to produce products or services efficiently, reduce costs, increase competitiveness, and ensure that the operation is performed properly following the specified rules. It also aims to meet the needs and increase labor productivity for entrepreneurs to increase the economic value of labour for the country. There are incentives to encourage the private sector to participate in the development of skills and to provide business establishments with knowledge, understanding, and benefits for those located in 10 districts in Bangkok, namely Khlong Toei, Bang Kho Laem, Bang Na, Bang Rak, Pathum Wan, Phra Khanong, Yan Nawa, Wattana, Sathorn, and Suan Luang. There were 130 participants from 123 establishments.
