MOL Receives Donations from Bai Li to Deliver to Workers Fighting Covid-19

Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to receive a delivery of 4,000 boxes of snacks from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd. to the Ministry of Labour, to deliver to the staff and medical personnel caring for insured persons, informal workers and people affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

On May 6, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to receive a delivery of 4,000 boxes of snacks from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd., valued at 2,826,200 Baht, fromManaging Director Mrs. Saranjit Wang. Advisory Board Member to the Labour Minister Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat also joined the occasion at the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour. The delivery is for the Ministry of Labour to deliver to medical personnel in hospitals who have sacrificed to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan is concerned about insured persons, informal workers, freelance workers, and people affected by the Covid-19 outbreak due to the widespread of the pandemic and the increasing infection rate. Therefore, the Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, was charged with providing proactive Covid-19 screening, covering informal workers in Bangkok and surrounding areas area. The Labour Minister instructed the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Bangkok Administration, provincial governors, and the Ministry of Public Health, by the NHSO, to proactively conduct Covid-19 screening for insured workers and informal workers, following the “Workforce Fighting Together” project, whereby the tests are free of charge. The facilities are at the West Sports Building 1, Bangkok Youth Center (Thai-Japan) in Din Daeng, Bangkok, and the multi-purpose hall at the Pathum Thani Vocational College, which reopened for services from May 5 to 11.

Mrs. Thiwalrat said that today, she was assigned by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to receive products from Bai Li Enterprise Co., Ltd., for the Ministry of Labour to hand out to staff and medical personnel at the different hospitals, sacrificing themselves to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
