21 September 2023 South Korea-Mr. Jumpol Pansamrit, Acting Deputy Attorney General, and a group were invited by the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Korea. and the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (KICJ) to pay an official visit. To discuss operations according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation between the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Korea dated 28 June 2011 and between the Office of the Attorney General and KICJ Institute dated 1 July 2011, respectively.

By visiting the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Sung Sang Heun, Assistant Attorney General who is responsible for foreign affairs and the group welcomed and discussed cooperation in suppressing transnational crimes between Thailand and the Republic of Korea. Especially in Thai labor fraud cases, human trafficking cases, drug trafficking cases and call center gangs. Including cooperation in the Southeast Asia Justice Network (SEAJust), a prosecutor exchange program between the Attorney General's Offices of both sides. and transferring investigation knowledge to Thai prosecutors. In addition, the Thai team informed of the initiative of the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand to establish an ASEAN prosecutor organization that would be able to build multilateral cooperation with the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Korea.

For the visit to KICJ Institute, Mr. Park Junhwi, Vice President of KICJ Institute and the group welcomed and discussed the exchange of research knowledge regarding the justice process of Thailand and Korea. Sending Thai prosecutors to work as visiting researchers at KICJ Institute
