Cabinet resolution extends the period of declaration of a state of emergency in the southern border provinces for another three months, ending on September 19, 2023.

Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs Acting as spokesman for the Office of the Prime Minister Announcement of Cabinet Resolutions (June 13, 2023) Acknowledgment according to the resolution of the Emergency Situation Management Committee No. 2/2023 approved the action plan to reduce the area enacted in the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. n. and to approve the extension of the declaration of a serious state of emergency in the southern border provinces (except Si Sakhon District Su-ngai Kolok District, Waeng District, Sukhirin District, Narathiwat Province, Yaring District, Mayo District, Mai Kaen District and Mae Lan District. Pattani Province and Betong District, Kabang District, Yala Province) for another 3 months from June 20, 2023 and ending on September 19, 2023 for the 72nd time to ensure continuity in the operations of the staff. It is the prevention, suspension and deterrence of events in the area in a timely manner. as well as being beneficial to maintaining peace and safety in the lives and properties of the people in the area as well .
