MOL Commences Competency Training on Answering Inquiries and Advice via the 1506 Hotline


On February 18, 2021, at 10.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, chaired the training’s commencement on improving competencies in answering inquiries and advice via the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline to serve people more efficiently. The meeting took place at the Grand Mercure Bangkok Fortune Hotel. The training aims to give participants the knowledge and understanding of responding to inquiries and resolving labour issues more accurately and quickly. It will also practice recording the data about the complaints/grievances to the Ministry of Labour through the MIS system to facilitate staff in recording the statistics of complaints/grievances to the Ministry of Labour from every channel. The data can then be reported to executives more effectively. This training program consists of hotline operators in the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline, among all departments under the Ministry of Labour and relevant officials from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, totaling 50 people.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour said that the above project is another effort of the Ministry of Labour to upgrade the call center communication channels and services provided to the people by developing staff capabilities on the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline and service staff. The project will enhance the staff’s ability to give advice and receive grievances/complaints with quality and value and to be dependable for the people and those involved.
